My expriment with Continental knitting, follow-up

I have made some more blocks but found that when ever things got complicated I would revert to my original 'English' method. My conclusion is to use the 'Continental' method only to do ribbing and the basket weave I just finished. It did go faster but for binding off it was just too loose for my style of knitting. I would welcome any comments or suggestions if you have some. I am off now to try to learn quilting and stitch painting.
